We have been giving full page ad in Corel Draw file as requested initially and the print quality was very bad. They did not do a proof reading on the ad. When we complained, we were told that it might be oversight and it would be corrected next time. Next time it was the same so we were asked to submit the butter copy.

We created a new ad and gave a butter copy. This time they printed both the old and new ad in the same issue.

In the next issue again the old unclear advt was printed and not the new one. I called up then Khadayata Jyoti president and conveyed my grievance to him and he promised to look into it. I did say that I have paid in advance for advertisements and it looks like Jyoti is ripping me off and its impacting my company's brand. I demand a credit for all 4 ads to be given to me. I was promised that he would look into it.

From then onwards, the new advt came regularly. After about 6 months, I wanted to give a new advt design. So I consulted Khadayata Jyoti offices and as sent them a butter copy. I asked for 4 months credit but I was denied that!!!! I gave them a butter on 4th April 2009 to get in advt in April issue. On 11th April I received a call that the Advt size in bigger. I said, is there anything I can do in next 48 hours to get this resolved? I was given direct number of Printer. I called the press to check if I can have a smaller butter mailed to them and I was told that I should only co-ordinate with Jyoti offices and not Printer.

It seems there is no co-ordination between Khadayata Jyoti, its Data Entry staff and Printing Press and as a result lot of people are impacted. I missed April Advt. I have paid advance money so I have no choice now but to use up my balance but am sure that I will not renew the advt in Jyoti. Its not worth it.
