As an Sr..Merchandiser in the organization, the responsibilities included:
• Samples - Executing new order as per details given, keeping in mind the 1st sample made.To get information from the designers has to what are the changes to be made from the 1 st sample.give the total time requried to make the sample,the consumption of the fabric.Keep checking till the finished product is dispatched.
• Production -Arranging fabrics if buyer has not send,make the changes if requried in the tracing paper pattern,get the photocopies of the traced emriodered paper pattern as per the size break down,be well versed with the intricates of the embriodery & the stitching detials in advance.
Follow-up on the production during embroidery & stitching process.see to that the work is update according to the requriment of the clients.
Day to day work:
• Quality control checking for all samples made in house & job working.
• Keeping in touch with the client by asking them difficulties regarding the purchase orders issued.
• Taking the measurement acc to the spec sheet given by the client.
